Bang Pa-in Palace. Also known as the Summer Palace, it is a palace complex formerly used by Thai kings. It is located in Ayutthaya Province. The place was huge, with lots of open spaces to just walk and bask in the relaxing atmosphere of the palace.
Elephants. I felt pity towards the elephants for being treated this way, performing with trainers who have whips in their hands. That's no way to treat an animal. Elephants were not created to perform silly tricks or shake their behinds for our amusement.
Ayutthaya Historical Park. Ayutthaya is 76 kms from the north of Bangkok. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Ayutthaya was the capital of Thailand until its destruction by the Burmese army in 1767. (Source: Wikipedia)
